Sungha Jung (born September 2, 1996) is a professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist from South Korea who began playing at the age of 10. Jung joined Youtube on September 8, 2006, his most recognized rendition is “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Jung is still heavily active on YouTube using the screen name “jwcfree” with over 4 million subscribers.
Jung developed an interest for guitars at an early age when he’d watch his father play. Jung was taught the basic chords by his father at the age of ten. He later developed his own style of playing by listening to his influences, one of them being Kotaro Oshio.
